GENERAL RULES

• This forum is rated PG-13 and is an intermediate - advanced

[/b][/i] role playing site based in the Naruto[/b] universe.

[/li][li]To apply for a character, you must first register on the site. You may not apply as a guest

[/li][li]If you have questions, please feel free to ask the staff! We're more than willing to help! However, please refrain from asking stupid questions for more your sake than my own.

[/li][li]This is an intermediate, semi-literate Naruto RP. If we do not feel your grammar, spelling, syntax, etc. is up to snuff to comply with our standards, you will be notified of such.

C-BOX RULES

• No advertising, there is a board for that
  
  
• No spamming, flaming, or swearing directly at other members.
  
  
• Please refrain from the excessive use of caps lock.

ACCOUNT RULES

• When you register, please register with the name of the character that you would like to play. If you want to apply for a Canon character, please register with that character name. For instance, no "Smitty Werben Man Jensen" if you are applying for say, Obito.
  
  
• You must roleplay all of your characters on separate accounts. Admin, Moderators and Staff are the only people that are allowed to roleplay their characters on one main account.
  
  
• Feel free to have an avatar or signature, just please be sure that it is not ridiculously sized (max 500 x 500 for signatures), offensive to anybody, and that credit is given if/where it is needed.

FORUM & ROLEPLAY RULES

• Respect all members and staff. Don't say anything you wouldn't want said to you. If you are having a conflict with another member, either work it out through PM's or take it to the staff. Refrain from making it a public issue.
  
  
• When you post a new thread, please put a date/timestamp, and your exact location between two "hr" tags. Like so...

• This is an intermediate-advanced site. Our minimum word count per post is 280 words - not that much. However, do remember that quality is better than quantity. If you can write twenty pages for a post, that's epic and you should totally write a book (I know I do XD). If you can capture the mood and scene perfectly with 301 words, wonderful.
  
  
• A paragraph is defined as at least seven sentences. (Not including breaks in time or small, isolated events in a post that are capable of being put into just one line)
  
  
• People swear in real life, and people swear in Naruto. You may swear ICly as YOUR CHARACTER would, but please keep swearing to a minimum in the C-Box. Also, though you may swear, I dont want every other word out of your characters mouth to be a swear word...especially not one of the stronger ones.
  
  
• That being said, no insulting terms that I will not list. You will be informed immediately if you do so, and will be requested to change it and given a warning.
  
  
• No asking/begging/pleading to be staff. You will be promoted after being contacted by the admin.
  
  
• BE AS ACTIVE AS POSSIBLE. We'd love to see you around! If you need to take a leave of absence for one reason or another, you are not required to spell out that reason for us, but please let us know ahead of time!
  
  
• Report any Harassment to staff IMMEDIATELY. The perpetrators will be dealt with accordingly.
  
  
• Absolutely no power playing or godmodding without the EXPRESS permission of the person whose character you will be taking control of in your post.
  
  
• You may have as many characters as you can keep up with.
  
  
• You may only gain another character after 15 IC posts and a well-noted level of activity. You may apply for them and be approved beforehand, just specify which characters you want to take up when.
  
  
• If you do get in trouble, don't say you didn't know. That would only show that you didn't read the rules, which would get you in even more trouble.
  
  
• When RPing, please make your speaking text a different color, bolded, underlined, whatever, for ease of seeing it in a post, otherwise your friend may miss it! Also, for thoughts, please use italics or underlines. Reserve the coloring for speech.
  
  
• Dont bring a character from another type of RP into this one. I.E. no Bleach or Soul Eater characters here. Yes, you may use them as face claims, but no abilities you would not find in the Naruto universe..
  
  
• If you are posting on one thread, you may RP on another, but make sure it is before or after another thread that you are currently in. Do note that events that happen there will be taken into account in RPs past that.
  
  
• While RPing, you can go in and edit your posts if you missed something..just be sure to tell the RP partner! And, while RPing, if your character is meeting someone for the first time, dont automatically put that your character knows your RP partners name. You have to meet and introduce first.
  
  
• Please specify if you want an open thread or just with somebody else in the title! Ex: [Open] or [Name(s)here]

CHARACTER RULES

• Your application will, in fact, be ripped apart as seen fit. I don't do it to be mean, but just to point out everything there is to be pointed out, and to weed out the inexperienced RPers from the experienced.
  
  
• You may mention that your Original Character has previously met Canon(s), however, you must RP it out in the Flashback board at some point in time.
  
  
• That being said, your character shall meet canons through RP, if you meet them at all. You may have heard of them, but you cannot have met them.
  
  
• You can go a bit wild with your characters, so dont hesitate to do so. Just keep it as close to realistic as possible. Also avoid making a Mary-Sue or Gary-Stu, or making them what some call 'too perfect'. You'll be rejected immediately
  
  
• On that note, I do not want to see 6789976798 Uchihas running around. I will not hesitate to put a ban on them, or any clan with a strong Kekkei Genkei, for that matter.
  
  
• On that note, you are allowed to customize Kekkei Genkei.
  
  
• As far as relationships go, absolutely NO altering Canon x Canon relationships in place
  
  
• I am willing to accept Canon x Original relationships, but you must run it through me first! No saying somebody like Jiraiya fell in love with a girl. He's just a pervert, he wouldn't commit to anything.
